RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT IN CALCASIEU PARISH

NAME OF APPLICANT: Keith Duplechin, C/O Spooner & Associates, POB 12685, Lake Charles, LA 70612.

LOCATION OF WORK: Adjacent to Henderson Bayou on Locke Lane and Bayou Bend Roads within the city limits of Lake Charles in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana, as shown on the attached drawings. (Lat 30.1842, Long -93.2737) Hydrologic Unit Code: 08080206 Calcasieu Watershed.

CHARACTER OF WORK: Clear, grub and grade and redistribute 2200 cubic yards of native soils, place 4,400 cubic yards of hauled in fill and 2,800 cubic yards of concrete within a 6.5 acre site to install house pads, driveways, underground utilities and street all to develop the Cyprien Place Subdivision.

The proposed project will impact 0.57 acres of forested wetlands. The applicant has proposed to compensate for unavoidable project related impacts through the purchase of mitigation credits from a Corps approved mitigation bank.
