The applicant, FLM Marine, proposes to dredge 1920 cubic yards of sediment from within 0.77 acre of existing Dillon’s Creek Marina basin in Island Heights Borough, Ocean County, New Jersey. Proposed work would be accomplished by mechanical means with less than 200 cubic yards annually (approximately 192 cubic yards). The project would result in the removal of sediments to a depth of between 5’ and 5.25’ below mean low water. Sediments, approximately 50% sand and 50% silts, will be disposed on the property within an existing bermed basin. View the attached "Public Notice and Plan Details" document for more information.
