Native Village of Kwinhagak, POC: Transportation Director, Dave Forbes is proposing to finish the Carter Subdivision road by placing 1,021 cubic yards of gravel fill material into 0.24 acre (264 linear feet). All work would be performed in accordance with the enclosed plan (sheets 1-2), dated September 2, 2010. The project site is located within Section 17, T. 5 S., R. 74 W., Seward Meridian; USGS Quad Map Goodnews Bay C-8; Latitude 59.74501º N., Longitude 161.9127º W.,Carter Subdivision Name, in Quinhagak, Alaska. PROPOSED WORK: The applicant is proposing to finish the Carter Subdivision road by placing 1,021 cubic yards of gravel fill material into 0.24 acre (264 linear feet). All work would be performed in accordance with the enclosed plan (sheets 1-2), dated September 2, 2010. The original permit authorized the construction of 2,370 feet of roadways, and fourteen homes and a community building on eight fill pads within 4.13 acres of jurisdictional Palustrine emergent wetlands. One of the roads was not completed, the permit has expired and the applicant is requesting a time extension to complete the road. All comments should reach this office no later than the expiration date of this Public Notice to become part of the record and be considered in the decision.
