PROPOSED PIER, BOATHOUSE, BOAT RAMP AND DREDGING IN TERREBONNE PARISH

NAME OF APPLICANT: Jason Aucoin, 11179 Savoy Road, St. Amant, Louisiana 70774. LOCATION OF WORK: In Bayou Dularge, Section 26, T19S-R16E, Latitude 29° 23’ 43.72” N, Longitude -90° 47’ 50.76” W, near Theriot, Louisiana, in Terrebonne Parish, within the Terrebonne Basin in the West Central Louisiana Coastal hydrologic unit (HUC 08090302), as shown on the attached drawings. CHARACTER OF WORK: The applicant has requested Department of the Army authorization to dredge approximately 370 cubic yards of material from a 25’x80’ area, to construct one (1) 25’x12’ boat ramp, one (1) 25’x30’ pier and one (1) 25’x30’ covered boat house in Bayou Dularge as detailed in the attached plans. The boathouse and pier will extend approximately 28’ into the waterway. Approximately 400 cubic yards of fill material will be used for the construction of the boat ramp. Preliminary review of the information furnished by the applicant indicates that approximately 0.05 acre of jurisdictional “other waters of the U.S.” will be permanently impacted by the project implementation. No impacts to jurisdictional wetlands are proposed by this project.
