NAME OF APPLICANT: Port Ship Service, Inc. Attn: Robert J. Nunez, 7121 N. Peters St. P. O. Box 369 Arabi, LA 70032-0369 LOCATION OF WORK: Project site is located on the right descending bank of the Mississippi River, at Mile Marker 64.4 above Head of Passes, at 14481-14513 Belle Chasse Hwy, Belle Chasse, in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana, as shown on the attached drawings. Hydrologic Unit Code: 08090100 - Lower Mississippi Region Location: Latitude: 29.70893, Longitude: -89.9876 CHARACTER OF WORK: The applicant proposes to construct and maintain a new pier along the Mississippi River. The project that is proposed will cause temporary impacts to .02 acres of jurisdictional wetlands. No permanent impacts to jurisdictional wetlands are anticipated with project implementation, thus, no compensatory mitigation measures are proposed at this time.
