Mr. Terrence L. Smith's stated purpose is to construct a dock to provide additional moorage.The project site is located within Section 5, T. 74 S., R. 81 E., Copper River Meridian; USGS Quad Map Craig B-4; Latitude 55.4775º N., Longitude 133.1453º W.; Prince of Wales-Hyder Census Area; in Craig, Alaska. The applicant proposes to:

•Construct a pier structure that would in total have a 5-foot by 110-foot pile supported dock with three 5-foot by 38-foot fingers. The applicant would utilize the current structure previously permitted but not completed. Six additional 8-12 inch pilings would be driven for the structure;

•Three areas within the pier structure would be dredged to -5.3 feet Mean Lower Low Water (MLLW) for a total of 1,500 cubic yards of material. The material would be placed behind the riprap wall and on uplands; and,

•Discharge 15 CY of shot rock on the southern boundary of the project area from below mean high water to 0 feet MLLW.

All work would be performed in accordance with the enclosed plan (sheets 1-5), dated July 1, 2016.
